Learn Reproducible Programming 11-13 Nov 2024

We are pleased to open applications for this two-day Software Carpentries workshop in November which will involve the basics of the Unix Shell / command line terminal, teach how to effectively track versions of your work using Git, and provide an introduction to programming in Python. It's completely free (!) and open to all students and staff at the university who feel that they may benefit from this course.

The workshop will be taught by a team of trained instructors and helpers, featuring a combination of teaching and practical sessions to provide you with experience of using these software tools which often form the basis of reproducibility within academia and beyond. For more information, please see the workshop webpage.
